Examples of the most consumed Tuscan red wine in the world, occupy a prominent position Brunello di Montalcino, Chianti and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, produced with the same red berried grape.

The story tells us how Brunello di Montalcino Docg was born in the farm Il Greppo in 1865 by the hands of Clemente Santi. Today the production of this Tuscan red wine is protected by a strict production disciplinary, which provide for sharpening in wooden barrels for at least two years and in bottles for at least four months.

The Tuscan red wine Chianti Classico was born in 1716. Its production was already limited to nine municipalities between the provinces of Florence and Siena. The symbol of this Tuscan red wine is the Gallo Nero, the ancient emblem of the Chianti Military League. Today Chianti Classico is produced for at least 80% with Sangiovese grapes.

Vino Nobile Montepulciano DOCG is produced with Sangiovese grape, locally called Prugnolo Gentile, for at least 70%. The production area of this Tuscan red wine is the town of Siena with vineyards located between 250 and 600 meters above sea level.
