The Attanasio Agricultural Company is much more than a winery: it is a compelling story of passion for vineyards, an unbreakable connection to the land, and an incessant pursuit of excellence in the heart of Salento.
Over the years, the company has invested not only resources but also precious time in studying various winemaking traditions, including those of Piedmont, France, Spain, and Portugal. Our mission is to create a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation, shaping international wines that preserve their native authenticity.
With a vineyard spanning 53 hectares, our vineyards thrive in a temperate climate, thanks to the proximity of the Adriatic and Ionian coasts and constant exposure to the sun. Our original property has expanded over the years, acquiring other strategically positioned agricultural estates in the region.
The flat terrain interrupted only by the song of cicadas, vineyards, and centuries-old olive trees is the path of the “Vigna del Sole” wine. The Cupa Valley, rich in history and people, is our refuge. Lecce, the capital of the Baroque, is the nearest city, while just 10 km away stretch the crystalline beaches of Porto Cesareo.
Attanasio wines are exclusively single-varietal, produced from native grapes cultivated in our vineyards and processed, matured, and bottled in our cellars. Recognitions such as the fourth national prize for quality and innovation and the representation of Puglia at the prestigious Harvard University testify to the dedication and excellence of our work.
