Informations on producer

Since 1829, in the heart of Aÿ, Maison Bollinger has been writing one of the most captivating chapters in the history of Champagne. It is more than just a name: it is a style, an emotion that elevates life’s great occasions and makes even the simplest moments extraordinary.

The Bollinger style is born from a deep love for the land and the art of craftsmanship. Pinot Noir, the grape that dominates the maison’s cuvées, lends structure and depth, while the estate’s 179 hectares of vineyards—over 85% classified as Grand Cru and Premier Cru—ensure a direct and authentic bond with the Champagne terroir.

What makes Bollinger even more special is the vision of Madame Lily Bollinger, who led the maison from 1941 to 1971. With her charisma and passion, she transformed Bollinger into an international icon, reminding us through her words that Champagne is a lifelong companion, meant to be shared in both joy and reflection.

Every Bollinger bottle is crafted through slow, artisanal gestures: fermentation in small oak barrels, an extraordinary collection of carefully aged reserve magnums, and meticulous attention to every detail. The result is a distinctive style: powerful yet harmonious, profound yet elegant.

Symbols of this unmistakable character include the Special Cuvée, the beating heart of the maison; the refined La Grande Année, produced only in the finest vintages; and the legendary R.D. (Récemment Dégorgé), which celebrates the art of time and maturity.

It’s no surprise that Bollinger has also become James Bond’s Champagne, an emblem of charm and daring.

With Bollinger, every sip is an experience that celebrates life. Not just a Champagne, but a timeless emotion.
