Here, in the heart of the Bolgheri region, the legendary Sassicaia was born, the first of the “Supertuscans,” the result of the pioneering vision of Marchese Mario Incisa della Rocchetta.
The estate stretches between the sea and hills, in a unique natural setting where a favorable microclimate and diverse soils create ideal conditions for elegant, long-lived wines that are deeply connected to the land.
Beyond winemaking, Tenuta San Guido is home to Italy’s first WWF oasis the Padule di Bolgheri and a prestigious thoroughbred horse breeding program. A place where nature, history, and the pursuit of quality coexist in perfect harmony.
