Adopt your Vineyard of
Pino Lieto Emilia IGP Grechetto Gentile 2026
Cantine Zuffa offers a refined interpretation of Grechetto Gentile, a wine that beautifully expresses the grape’s elegant and approachable character. Its aromatic profile is remarkably diverse, revealing notes of pomegranate, hazelnut, and almond that combine to create a rich and harmonious bouquet. On the palate, it is dry, well-structured, and supported by lively acidity, resulting in a balanced and satisfying finish.
A wine of remarkable elegance and immediate appeal, it stands out for its authenticity, proving that true quality often lies in simplicity.
The name Pino Lieto traces its origins to Pliny the Elder, who referred to this grape in his Naturalis Historia. According to tradition, he named it for the pine cone-shaped clusters that produced an exceptionally soft and delicate wine: “Pino” from pigna (pine cone) and “Lieto” to evoke its gentle, graceful character.
