Located in the picturesque town of Barolo, the estate is a small gem spanning about 5 hectares of vineyards, including 2 hectares in the renowned Sarmassa cru. Here, the Scarzello family carefully cultivates Nebbiolo, the king of Piedmontese grapes. Since 1998, Federico Scarzello has passionately led the winery, carrying forward the family’s winemaking tradition.
The Barolo Sarmassa Vigna Merenda is the emblem of their craft: a wine that tells the story of the land, time, and a love for viticulture. Aged for 30 months in wooden barrels, this Barolo offers a complex bouquet of red fruits, spices, and earthy notes, with elegant tannins and a lingering finish. 🍷
